About this tool
These “fonts” are really special Unicode characters, mostly from the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block, so they display in apps that do not let you change fonts. Small text uses superscript and small-capital letters, though Unicode has no superscript form of every letter (there is no superscript “q”), so a few letters stay normal.
Accessibility tip: screen readers may read these characters one by one or skip them. Avoid them for important information.
Frequently asked questions
Why do some letters not change?
Unicode only defines some styles for certain letters. For example, there is no small-caps “x” or superscript “q”, so those stay as normal letters.
Will these work on Instagram and TikTok?
Yes. They are ordinary Unicode text, so they paste into bios, captions and comments on nearly every platform. Very old devices may show empty boxes.
Are fancy fonts bad for SEO?
Search engines may not read them as normal words. Do not use them in page titles or important headings.
