About this tool
Numbers come from crypto.getRandomValues() with rejection sampling, so every value in the range is equally likely. There is no modulo bias, which a quick Math.random() trick can introduce. Turn off repeats to draw unique numbers, such as lottery-style picks or raffle tickets. The generator stops you if you ask for more unique numbers than the range holds.
Frequently asked questions
Are the numbers truly random?
They come from your operating system’s cryptographically secure generator, which is unpredictable and suitable for drawings and games.
Can I generate a random number without repeats?
Yes. Uncheck “Allow repeats” for unique values. This works like drawing numbered balls without putting them back.
Are min and max included?
Yes, both ends are included. 1 to 6 can return 1 or 6.
