How to use the Random Name Picker
- Paste names, one per line or separated by commas
- Choose how many to draw and whether to remove picked names
- Click Pick; the history keeps track of past winners
About this tool
The picker shuffles your list with a Fisher–Yates shuffle powered by crypto.getRandomValues() and takes the first names, so every name has an equal chance. Turn on “Remove picked names” to run a draw in rounds without picking anyone twice. For a more visual draw on a projector, try the wheel spinner.

Is it fair for giveaways?
Yes. Each name has an equal probability. For public giveaways, record your screen while drawing for transparency.
Do duplicates get extra chances?
Yes. Each line counts separately. Use Remove Duplicate Lines first if you want one entry per person.

Your current list is kept in this browser so a refresh does not lose it. It never leaves your device.
